Description

The Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse, *Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus*, is a stunning and active addition to the reef aquarium. This vibrant species is known for its beautiful coloration, featuring a base color that can range from pink to orange, often with iridescent blue or purple markings. The defining characteristic is the delicate pink or reddish margin along the edges of its fins, giving it its common name.

A minimum tank size of 75 gallons is recommended to provide ample swimming space for this active wrasse. They are native to the Indo-Pacific region, inhabiting coral reefs and rubble zones. The Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse is considered to have an intermediate care level, making it suitable for experienced aquarists.

In the aquarium, the Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse will thrive on a varied diet of high-quality marine flake food, pellet food, frozen mysis shrimp, and enriched brine shrimp. They are generally peaceful and can be kept with a variety of other non-aggressive marine fish. They are reef-safe and will not harm corals or invertebrates. Providing a sand bed is beneficial as they may bury themselves at night or when startled.
